Yá’át’ééh, shí éí charlie amáyá scott yinishyé. I am Naasht’ézhí Tábááhá and born for Tsénjíkiní. My maternal grandparents are Áshiihí, and my paternal grandparents are Kiisʼáanii.
I was born and raised in Canyon De Chelly. My English pronouns are she and her. I have a Ph.D. in Higher Education and focus on Indigenous Trans Joy, settler colonialism, and refusal.
I love the movie Shrek and Last Holiday and blue corn cake.
I am currently studying how Indigenous Trans Joy is inherently resistant, resilient, and decolonizing.
If I could choose to be something different than human for one day, I would be a sunflower.
If I could have dinner with any two people, they would be the Nádleeh twins, the first children of First Woman and First Man.
