Community Impact Liaison

Yá’át’ééh shik’éí dóó shidine’é! Shí éí Kalama Ku’ikahi yinishyé. Biligana nishłį́, Hawáai Dine’é (Hawaiian) bashishchiin. Ákót’éego Hawáai Dine’é hastiin nishłį́. Kinłani kééhasht’į́, ndi Tó Díílidí dóó Hawai’i island déé’ naashá. 

I was born and raised in Diné Bikéyah, where I still live and work. I have extensive experience in youth development, program creation, nonprofit management, somatic healing, and violence prevention. For over five years, I have actively participated in the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives (MMIR) movement, focusing on healing for Indigenous lands and bodies. I am a proud parent of three beautiful adult children, and I enjoy creating various forms of art and craft.

I love building on the rez and in Hawai’i. 

Presently studying Diné and Hawaiian traditional ways of knowing and being, especially as it pertains to masculinities.

If I could choose to be something different than human for one day, I’d be a mano uhi (tiger shark).

If I could have dinner with any two people, it’d be my tutu wahine (grandmothers), Nalau Kuali’i and Hattie Kaui.
