#KinshipOrganizing

Wherever you exist in the world, connect with us and your Diné relatives! Join our kinship organizing community program and app. We’re excited to see how we all fit together and connect to support both our individual and collective purposes!

Adóone’é

As Diné, we identify ourselves in relation to other Diné and non-human beings through our clans. Who we are and how we relate to others cosmologically and socially is engrained in our existence and includes knowledge and directive/protective energies from our creation stories that will continue infinitely though “time”. As Diné, we are readily organized and have the intellect and means to provide for ourselves collectively - we only need to recognize the strength of organizing effectively though our clans. Effectively could mean:

  • Organizing by our four original clan groups
  • Rebuilding our clan families
  • Motivating community building and connection on our own terms without the facilitation of colonized institutions; thus,
  • Revitalizing ancestral knowledge, language, ceremonies and daily living practices including care and compassion for ourselves as purposefully created beings and for all of our Diné relations
  • Building efficiency to mobilize quickly for unexpected and natural disasters
  • Streamlining communication though a single hub/platform

We expect our Kinship Organizing Community Program to aid in the discovery of ancestral knowledge related to clan organizing and healthy living as Diné beings. We’re anxious to learn more about who we are, organized through our clans. At present, our Diné Clans are organized by the 4 original clans with a total of 21 clan groups (1 extinct) and 85 total clans (3 extinct). Request a personal consultation to learn more about connecting with your clan relations here: (Link Coming Soon!)
