Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives

First and foremost, YOU ARE LOVED! Being a part of the MMIR and/or domestic violence community takes tremendous strength and acknowledgement of the beauty and complexities of humanity. We're all on a path of discovery. Some of us have endured unimaginable trauma(s) and loneliness. We want to walk alongside you, no matter your experience. We believe the best way to support the Flagstaff MMIR crisis is for our community to be actively involved. In partnership with Missing & Murdered Diné Relatives (MMDR), Wingbeat 88 aims to be a local center of support for survivors, advocates and families. 

Following the leadership and lived experiences of MMIR families and advocates, we seek to establish a working group in kinship with Flagstaff MMIR families and to support MMIR mutual aid needs.

Wingbeat 88 believes in fostering safe places for relatives experiencing MMIR violence, providing a community space to experience loving support and gain knowledge of resources.
